The year 2023 marked a significant milestone for Vingroup as they announced the establishment of Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM). GSM operates primarily in two areas: electric vehicle ride-hailing services and the rental of electric cars and motorcycles, with an investment scale of 20,000 electric cars and 60,000 electric motorcycles.
In Vietnam, this initiative has created a “tidal wave” making electric vehicles more accessible to the public than ever before.
2M Media is honored to have been involved from the early days of GSM’s operations, closely collaborating on video production projects for GSM. This partnership has been strengthened by our longstanding and sustainable relationship with Vingroup.
Following behind many advanced countries, electric vehicles have only recently begun to gain popularity in Vietnam. This shift requires significant communication efforts and nationwide changes to encourage the transition from gasoline-powered vehicles to electric ones.
We have been fortunate to partner with Vingroup, Vinfast, and Xanh SM on numerous projects aimed at promoting the spirit of daring to change, pioneering, and embracing the “fierce Vietnamese spirit.” These projects inspire Vingroup employees and the Vietnamese public to adopt electric vehicles as a means to protect the environment and improve the quality of life in the future.
